Hardraw Force, the famed waterfall of The Yorkshire Dales, may be well known as the setting for the world famous Hardraw Scaur Brass Band Competition, but, with a ‘live music’ heritage dating back to the 1800’s it comes as no surprise to find the site and it’s beautiful scenery is now home to an eclectic music scene.
Our varied line up provides a little something for everyone with particular emphasis on brillinat singing with a touch of humour…

Spend May Day Bank Holiday weekend enjoying wonderful music at the Green Dragon Inn, Hardraw near Hawes in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales
The thriving market town of Hawes is home to Wensleydale Cheese and the Dales Countryside Museum. There are several craft workshops, antique and other speciality shops, a pharmacy, hotels, pubs, restaurants and cafés which, together with local tradesmen & 2 cashtills, will cater to your every need.
The name, Hawes, means a ‘pass between mountains’, and it stands between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss. The town is an excellent centre for walking and touring Wensleydale and the adjoining dales of Swaledale, Cotterdale, Dentdale, Garsdale, Wharfedale and Ribblesdale. Take a walk round the Hawes Town Trail, or Millennium Walk, or Pennine Way or along the River Ure, which is nearby. The three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen y Ghent are all temping possibilities for keen walkers and Aysgarth falls are spectacular – especially after rain.
Show caves can be found at Stump Cross and White Scar near Ingleton. Castle Bolton is the nearest example of mediaeval interest but Richmond and Middleham are just along the dale. Gayle Mill, famous as a result of BBC Tv’s Restoration programme is now available to view just across the town of Hawes.
